The Connections Museum Denver - 2014 Bring your kids to work day

Educational Resources

The Telecommunications History Group is strongly committed to providing educational resources to our communities, both in person and online.

We provide tours of our museums and access to our archives to all who want an in-person, hands-on experience of telecommunications history. We can also provide exhibits and/or lectures at a site of your choosing. Contact us for more information.

Our website has educational packages for teachers, including lesson plans and resource kits. We can set up guided tours of our physical museums, or arrange for one of our historians to visit classrooms—digitally, physically, or both! Our current selection of lesson plans has to do with the 931 14th St telephone building exhibit: We are proud partners of the National History Day (NHD.org) program, which inspires students to study history, learn about the past, and make connections to their own lives and times. Today, National History Day reaches over 500,000 students each year who conduct historical research to discover the past, understand the present, and be the future. THG provides support, guidance, and access to important primary and secondary sources for students and teachers involved in NHD across the country.
